This year's Rendezvous Weekend in August has in fact already booked up, but such was the demand that we opened up a few more spaces. Now those have been taken too, and we are only going to issue ten more places for the event - which go on sale today!

In May we ran the second ADAPT Programme qualification course in the USA, and we are pleased to announce now that of the 20 participants everyone has passed and you can find their names on our ADAPT Graduates page.Most of the candidates completed their supervised hours by assisting us throughout this year's American Rendezvous event, hosted by Parkour Horizons, which was a great success. 

A few weeks ago team-member Blane finished some night-time filming for the brand new Blackberry Playbook tablet device in conjunction with Phones-4U. The finishing result is an online Facebook game which allows you to control a ninja through a number of levels dispatching your evil enemies. The game is dispersed with video footage of Blane doing parkour in full ninja gear at Southbank, so play through the game to see the shots!

Next month Dan, Stephane and Williams fly to Russia to run a series of seminars at the Moscow Parkour Festival, running from July 8-10. The event has been organised by the Russian Federation of Extreme Sports in conjunction with the Moscow Parkour Academy and the Moscow City government.

Between July 22nd and the 24th, Parkour Generations will be sending a small three man team over to our friends in Wisconsin, U.S.A to run some intensive Parkour workshops. Some of the Wisconsin Parkour organisation were present at our events in Ohio earlier in the year and also attended our A.D.A.P.T. Level 1 Qualification course. We're very happy to be heading out there to train with the entire group and  visiting a brand new community.

Tomorrow's Off the Wall Jam in London will  be meeting at Mile End Tube Station, 12:45pm. We will be leaving the station at 1pm to head to the training spot for the day, which will be the fantastic Victoria Park - boulders, gaps, and fun aplenty.

This time we see a female practitioner documenting 2 and a half years of training which is a great milestone. There are lots of good movements and compared to previous videos much progress has been made.

With Forrest and Blane back from Germany, all accounts are that the Dortmund training was a huge success. With over 100 participants It was a full day of indoor and outdoor training, starting with a typical academy warmup before the groups worked on silent movement drills outside, dynamic routes inside, muscle up work on the bars and a thorough conditioning session to finish off the day.

Don't forget that next month is our fantastic Morzine Parkour camp which is a whole week of dedicated training set in the beautiful French Alps. Open to all abilities of the discipline, beginner and advanced, this is the perfect way to get out of the city and experience some of the best intensive training set against mountain fresh-air, tranquil atmosphere, high quality accommodation and delicious cuisine.

As many of our practitioners and students that attend the outdoor academy classes know, one of our regular spots is the hugely popular Heygate estate in Elephant and Castle. Unfortunately this beautiful urban jungle of trees and buildings has been scheduled to be redeveloped into medium high-rise density housing.

Just a quick reminder that we will be appearing at the Crossover Youth Culture Festival in Dortmund, Germany, this Sunday. Forrest and Blane will be heading out to lead some Parkour training alongside some big music stages playing Hiphop, Rock and Dance as well as workshops for grafitti, streetart, skating and many other activities. The emphasis here is on creativity with movement and self expression but is another example of how to use a single space.

Check out this weeks issue of Time Out (London) Magazine to see team members Dom and Andy jumping about in a nature reserve. Featured in 'The Great Outdoors!' cover article, the guys had a lot of fun having their photos taken to show what type of exciting things you can do in London while outside.

Completing the trifecta for the day, we are also very happy to announce that the Parkour Generations family is growing by one more member with the addition of developing athlete Lauren Bettyes. An academy class regular and fantastic traceuse, Lauren is always training hard and getting stuck in with any challenge thrown at her. We look forward to having her along to the team trainings and getting involved with more of the things we get up to at PKG.

Following the addition of Shirley from the Developing Athlete Programme into the Team, we would like to also welcome today a brand new addition to the D.A.P. group, Kristian McPhee. A long-time practitioner and dedicated traceur, Kristian makes an excellent addition to the programme and we expect to see big things from this guy in the future.

It gives us great pleasure to welcome a fantastic new addition to the core Parkour Generations Team; Shirley Darlington.

Another beautifully shot video starting out in a natural environment with simple but powerful movements and great flow. The video then progresses to an urban environment with the same style of flow but adapted to concrete surroundings. Watch it. 

Following last week's American Rendezvous II we will be heading back to the United States next month to run a weekend training event for hosts Wisconsin Parkour on July 22/23. This will be the first time we have taught in Wisconsin, and we are looking forward to working with the community there which is led by a small but dedicated group of ADAPT coaches.

This week's ADAPT 1st4Sport Level 1 Coaching Qualification course hosted by NGB Parkour UK has just got underway in London, with Forrest delivering the course and Dan assessing on the final day. Following last week's fully booked ADAPT course in the USA, demand for the qualification is higher than ever and it's great to see so many practitioners serious about becoming a recognised coach. 

The American Rendezvous 2 has finally come to an end and we're all very proud that it was one of the best yet. Great energy and movement from all participants with amazing organisation from the Parkour Horizons guys. The whole team are now on their way back to the UK, so you can expect many photos and videos in the weeks to come. Many thanks to everyone who was involved, especially to the Torchias for their fantastic hospitality!
