Over the years,I have tried my hand at many sports and activities but none has given me the opportunity to interact with such a diverse group of likeminded individuals. Despite the many differences in age, background, nationality, colour, size and ability if you bring your enthusiasm and willingness to work hard you are welcomed in with open arms. This can not be said for everything else I've tried.
For me this has been one of the biggest attractions to Parkour, the freedom to be accepted despite your differences and be part of the eclectic Parkour family. It has given me the opportunity to train with some of the most interesting, friendly and hard working people i know, people i now consider to be close friends. The beauty is, what you see is what you get.
If you are reading this and are not yet part of the Parkour community, what are you waiting for, come and join the mix.
