With parkour now exploding in North America, veteran UK practitioner and senior coach Chris Keighley has now relocated to help guide the development of the discipline there from our PKGen Americas base in Boston, Massachusetts.
We have some huge announcements upcoming about the development of parkour in North America, and this year will see the globably recognised official ADAPT coaching certifications becoming much more accessible in the United States, with several courses being run around the country.

The American Rendezvous 2 has finally come to an end and we're all very proud that it was one of the best yet. Great energy and movement from all participants with amazing organisation from the Parkour Horizons guys. The whole team are now on their way back to the UK, so you can expect many photos and videos in the weeks to come. Many thanks to everyone who was involved, especially to the Torchias for their fantastic hospitality!
This week one of our Academy students and ADAPT Affiliate Coaches, James Ballantyne, is starting up his very own Parkour coaching club across the pond in Santa Barbara, L.A. The new website is up for Santa Barbara Parkour Coaching and is welcoming anyone along to his weekend classes. The sessions are from 11am to 12.30pm with no restrictions on experience or age.
PKGen Developing Athlete and ADD Nation team member Naoki Ishiyama is now recovered from his injury and coaching regular sessions in Los Angeles, California. Naoki is one of the global community's well-loved practitioners, becoming an inspiration to thousands following his determined fight back to health after suffering a terrible freak injury in 2009.
Next month Stephane will be joining Yamakasi founders Chau, Yann and Laurent in delivering a seminar in Texas, USA - hosted by Texas Parkour. The event runs across 11,12,13 February and will be held in Austin, Texas. Team Members Blane and Andy have spent the last week in the United States, running sessions and a Halloween event in Columbus, Ohio. The training sessions were a great success with all the local participants putting in 100% effort and showing great spirit. We would like to thank the excellent Parkour Horizons for hosting the guys and organising the sessions, and we look forward to seeing the community out there again in the future.
