American Rendezvous Done!

The American Rendezvous 2 has finally come to an end and we're all very proud that it was one of the best yet. Great energy and movement from all participants with amazing organisation from the Parkour Horizons guys. The whole team are now on their way back to the UK, so you can expect many photos and videos in the weeks to come. Many thanks to everyone who was involved, especially to the Torchias for their fantastic hospitality!

Santa Barbara Parkour Coaching

This week one of our Academy students and ADAPT Affiliate Coaches, James Ballantyne, is starting up his very own Parkour coaching club across the pond in Santa Barbara, L.A. The new website is up for Santa Barbara Parkour Coaching and is welcoming anyone along to his weekend classes. The sessions are from 11am to 12.30pm with no restrictions on experience or age.

Naoki is one of the global community's well-loved practitioners, becoming an inspiration to thousands following his determined fight back to health after suffering a terrible freak injury in 2009.

American Sessions Done

Team Members Blane and Andy have spent the last week in the United States, running sessions and a Halloween event in Columbus, Ohio. The training sessions were a great success with all the local participants putting in 100% effort and showing great spirit. USA Labor Day Seminar

From the 3-6th September we will be running some training sessions in Columbus, Ohio, culminating in the Labor Day Seminar on September 6th. Today is the last day for registration on the Outdoor Classes we will be leading there on September 3rd and 4th, so hop on over to the Parkour Horizons site to register and you may get lucky. We are looking forward to being back in the United States next week to deliver the first ADAPT instructor qualification course in North America, and hope to see many of you at the training sessions.

ADAPT USA: September 2-6

This September we will be running the first ever ADAPT Instructor Qualification course in the United States, following on from this month's highly successful course in Brasil. The Level One course is being hosted by Parkour Horizons and runs from September 3-6 in Columbus, Ohio. The course can only take a limited amount of people so those who are interested should contact Parkour Horizons directly to secure a place.

American Rendezvous: A Report

Last month we spent three days in Ohio, USA, teaching workshops for the American community who came from far and wide to be there. This was the first time the Yamakasi founders had taught publicly in the States, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the event. American Rendezvous was organised by Columbus-based group Parkour Horizons, who did a fantastic job of bringing it all together.
