Inspired by a very popular online Flickr gallery showcasing individuals and their personal belongings by photographer J Trav (See his Flickr gallery here), we thought it could be quite an interesting experiment to capture members of the parkour community in much the same way.

A new mini thought-piece film following some of the Parkour Generations athletes - Blane, Kristian and Dale - as they train and talk about what parkour is to them throughout one sunny day in London.

As of next week we will be launching a brand new Advanced Class as a weekly session every Tuesday evening. 

A few weeks ago team-member Blane finished some night-time filming for the brand new Blackberry Playbook tablet device in conjunction with Phones-4U. The finishing result is an online Facebook game which allows you to control a ninja through a number of levels dispatching your evil enemies. The game is dispersed with video footage of Blane doing parkour in full ninja gear at Southbank, so play through the game to see the shots!

With Forrest and Blane back from Germany, all accounts are that the Dortmund training was a huge success. With over 100 participants It was a full day of indoor and outdoor training, starting with a typical academy warmup before the groups worked on silent movement drills outside, dynamic routes inside, muscle up work on the bars and a thorough conditioning session to finish off the day.

Just a quick reminder that we will be appearing at the Crossover Youth Culture Festival in Dortmund, Germany, this Sunday. Forrest and Blane will be heading out to lead some Parkour training alongside some big music stages playing Hiphop, Rock and Dance as well as workshops for grafitti, streetart, skating and many other activities. Next month we will be appearing at the Crossover Youth Culture Festival in Dortmund, Germany, on June 18th. The festival is a celebration of youth culture, from rock to rap, skateboarding to parkour, street dance and more.

This week we will be teaching at the first seminar event organised by Italian organisation, Milan Monkeys.

Our brand new North london Academy Class at Lee Valley Athletics Centre is in it's second week tonight, and kicks off at 7pm sharp. With amazing facilities and Blane as principal instructor, the class is a great place to begin your training in parkour or work hard on your skills if you are already part of the scene.

This month we will be teaching at the first seminar event organised by Italian organisation, Milan Monkeys. Stephane, Dan and Blane will be flying out for the three day event which runs from 25-27 March in Milan, Italy, and involves a public Q&A day followed by two training days.
