Today we took part in an event run by Sportinspired called the 'Community Games'. The idea is simple: local schools compete against one another in a 'sports day' where they are encouraged to try new sports. As PK is non-competitive we had to be a little inventive, but it seemed that the kids enjoyed it (judging by the noise) and it was deemed a success by all involved. A couple of photos of the event showing our obstacle course are attached.

The website has just been updated to include six new communities: PKTD (Brazil), TS (Colombia), StreetMovement (Denmark), DFT (Greece), Anomaly (Russia) and Parkour Academy (Sweden). If you wish to add your group onto the global community programme, see the webpage here for more information. The video section has also been updated to include both old and new clips from the Ohio Seminar, the Morzine Camp 2008 & 2009, as well as the training in Sarcelles with Majestic Force.

Global Community Expanding!

Our Global Community project has been going from strength to strength recently and we are proud to introduce Bahrain, South Africa and Tunisia alongside the other 30+ countries already signed up. Great Communities Day: Sat 1st August

Tomorrow we will be running workshops all day at the CityWest Homes Great Communities Day, a City of Westminster event. The day is run every year in partnership with Lisson Green Tenants' & Residents' Association and Vital Regeneration, and is held on Lisson Green Estate in North West London.
