Parkour film-maker and academic, Julie Angel, is set soon to finish and publish her extensive Ph.D. research into parkour - including its history as never before documented in detailed interviews with every one of the founding practitioners. Julie has been releasing small insight pieces into the research in our parkour magazine and has now released the latest piece online on her blog which you can read by clicking here.

The first lady of parkour film-making, our own Julie Angel is set to release a brand new DVD collection of her famous short films, called 'En Route'. The new DVD will be launched at our upcoming international training event Rendezvous 5 on August 14/15. Recently we spent a week in Nicaragua on project with Yota Telecommunications, with two days being devoted to running workshops for the local people who had never encountered parkour before. One of the resulting edits by our own Julie Angel is now online, giving an insight into those workshops and the great experience we had meeting the people out there and introducing them to the art. Due to many emails and popular demand, Julie Angel has been hard at work getting an NTSC version of the 'Once is Never : Training with Parkour Generations' DVD produced for our American audience. We can officially announce that the NTSC version is now available via the Store and can be purchased today.

Julie (aka Slamcamspam) has just uploaded her latest film which follows a class of international traceurs led by Thomas Couetdic at one of our outdoor academy classes.

The anniversary issue of the webzine Galrilla is now featuring an article on our resident film-maker Julie Angel.

A busy few days at the moment, with shoots ongoing with both Julie Angel and photographer Andy Day - producing some excellent results as usual. A couple of new taster shots can be found in the Gallery, and Julie's project filming 12 of the Academy women in action in London is already shaping up very well. Johann has had a great time so far teaching in Brazil, while workshops run by Forrest, Stephane and Chris in new schools in Hackney and Wiltshire have also gone down a storm. All hands on deck right now...

Parkour Coaching athletes Stephane, Dan, Forrest & Tracey are to be featured in a video created by Julie Angel as part of an installation comissioned by the museum. The museum is a privately funded foundation, presenting a variety of exhibitions on Swiss and international architecture.
