A Parkour experience 'Sportivate Crawley Parkour’ launched by Freedom Leisure and Crawley Borough Council has won the ‘Active Sussex Sportivate Project of the Year Award’ at the prestigious Sussex Sports Awards which were held on Friday November 21st at The Grand Hotel, Brighton. Utilising Crawley’s outdoor Parkour facility during summer and the gymnasium at K2 Crawley during winter, participants were taught key Parkour skills; safe, efficient, fluid movement combining mental discipline, spatial awareness and confidence.

PKGen Director Francois "Forrest" Mahop spoke to BBC Radio 4 for a series called “The Design Dimension” which returns tomorrow at 15.00 UK time.

Episode 1 is themed on orientation, in which Forrest participated in a discussion for a segment on testing physical barriers with the idea of penetration testing from the perspective of someone who practices parkour, as well as looking at how you navigate buildings, the architectural environment and space.
