We've had it confirmed that  the parkour-based hit game Mirror's Edge is about to have the big-budget movie treatment, which will see the popular character Faith - a futuristic free-running heroine - come alive for the big screen.

On December 12th in Potters Fields, London, we will be helping to launch the Blu-Ray and DVD releases of Hollywood blockbuster The Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

The event will be an open-access day of training on a purpose-built structure which resembles the apes' enclosure in the movie. Five of our team - Forrest, Blane, Dom, Andy and Kevin - will be on site throughout the day to inspire through movement and explore the potential of ape-like movement in particular. 

The Parkour casting process for Twist - The Movie is now CLOSED. All Twitter, Facebook and E-Mailed submissions will be reviewed and considered for our shortlist event on December 3rd at the LEAP Park. 

UPDATE: Due the the overwhelming response to our open casting campaign for the TWIST 3D feature film, we're extending the submission deadline to FRIDAY NOVEMBER 18th, so keep 'em coming!! 

The end of this coming week, Friday 11th November, is the deadline for any further casting video submissions to land a role in the forthcoming feature film TWIST 3D.

Open casting on the TWIST 3D movie for any budding moviestars out there in the parkour community is still open for a few more weeks, and you can now download a printable flyer to hand out amongst your own parkour community to spread the word. 

We are happy to announce the launch of an open casting call for a brand new, high profile movie production we are currently involved in called TWIST.

Today saw the initial test shoot for a forthcoming movie production that will see full 3D used for the first time with parkour on a project of this scale. Five members of the Performance Team with Dan provided all the action, and we are happy to be working alongside our good friend Sebastian Foucan who is acting as parkour co-ordinator on the film. 

A little teaser of what goes on behind the scenes here at PKGen - a shot of Team Member Yao in studio today doing some motion capture work for a forthcoming movie, details of which we are unable to release at this time unfortunately! Rest assured though that it's shaping up to be pretty darn unique.

There are also some 3D projects coming up which will at last put parkour action properly under the 3D spotlight... Stay tuned for more details.
