Every Saturday morning Moberly Sports centre opens its doors to our growing Family Parkour class. This week we saw three generations, from grandparents to 17mth old toddlers, playing, running, jumping, hopping, climbing, piggybacking, wheel-barrowing, monkey-walking, duck-walking and exploring thier way around the studio.

Tomorrow, January 2nd, our very own Annty Marais leaves the UK to begin a year-long trip around the world to meet and train with parkour communities everywhere. 

Well, it's been one hell of a year for us and for parkour - and as we tip our caps to 2011 while it dwindles into the distance, we look 2012 sqaure in the eye and greet it with the respect and honour it is due.. Because we can tell you now, 2012 is going to be the BIggest. Year. Yet. for this wonderful discipline of parkour...  

A new mini thought-piece film following some of the Parkour Generations athletes - Blane, Kristian and Dale - as they train and talk about what parkour is to them throughout one sunny day in London.

On Saturday November 5th our resident film-maker and parkour researcher Dr. Julie Angel will be giving a presentation at the Royal Anthropological Insititute's event, Sport Cultures: Capturing Sport in a Globalised World.

We've just updated and issued our regular newsletter, now named Pathfinder, which anyone can subscribe to free by ticking the box at the bottom of the homepage. 

A new short film featuring the words and action of one of the founders of parkour and a member of the original Yamakasi, David Belle, has recently been released - it's a commercial piece commissioned by Remington, and shows David training and talking in his loval environs of Lisses, France. The film has some great shots, and is well worth a look.
