Between Monday 28th November - Wednesday 7th December we will be running the first official Level 2 ADAPT parkour coaching qualification course in London. And some big guns are coming in to both tutor and take part in it... 

We are very happy to announce the (re)release of the most popular parkour shoe on Earth - this time launched by Decathlon UK in conjunction with NGB Parkour UK, and renamed the 'Vision' Parkour/Freerunning shoe.

The latest news from Decathlon UK and Parkour UK regarding the re-release of the classic shoe which has proven to be the most popular footwear for parkour around the world: Decathlon UK have given a message to the community, which can be read below.

Parkour UK in partnership with Decathlon UK has secured the return of the shoe of choice for Traceurs / Freerunners. Due to our exclusive partnership with Decathlon UK we have been working on bringing back the shoe, with a few alterations to improve the performance of the shoe for practitioners.

Parkour UK's 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Parkour / Freerunning (ADAPT) courses are now available with up to 75% of the course cost paid for by the Mayors Sports Legacy Fund.

We now have a list of the upcoming available A.D.A.P.T. Coaching Qualification courses that will be held in the UK. These courses are all confirmed, though more will be being added as the year progresses. 

As reported earlier in the week, Parkour Generations and Parkour UK were involved with the official unveiling of the Olympic rings at St Pancras International Station alongside Seb Coe and Mayor Boris Johnson. Well done to Developing Athletes Daniel, Matthew and Aaron as well as team members Dan, Stephane, Forrest, Dom, Naomi and Andy.

Today some of our team were involved in a promo shoot, representing the NGB Parkour UK, with Lord Sebastian Coe of the Olympic Committee to launch the London event listings for Open Weekend 2010.
