Over the last few days a four man Parkour Generations contingent consisting of team members Brian Obeng, Chris Keighley, Pete McKee and Leon Lawrence have been leading parkour workshops right on the doorsteps of the Vatican, Rome, for the Italian national event, Ecce Parkour.

From all reports, everyone had an amazing time on the purpose built parkour structure built in the Piazza del Risorgimento, just outside the Vatican.

Tomorrow sees 7 of the team heading to Rome, Italy to teach at the Ecce Parkour II event alongside the Yamakasi founders of Majestic Force and the Italian parkour associations. The location will be different from last year's venue and boasts a custom built parkour structure purpose-made for the event. The gathering will be three days long, running from the 21st May to the 23rd, with workshops and seminars plus Q&As with the Yamakasi and our team throughout. Should be an amazing few days in Rome!

We are happy to have been invited again to teach at the national gathering in Rome, Italy, known as Ecce Parkour. This year we are sending out seven instructors, and we are looking forward to once more teaching alongside our good friends and partners, the Yamakasi founders from Majestic Force.

A seven minute video has gone up on YouTube coving some of the Rome charity event that Stephane, Chris and Blane ran alongside Chau Belle, Laurent Piemontesi and the guys from Parkour.it. The three-day international gathering in Rome kicks off today, with a seven-strong team from Parkour Generations there to run a seminar on the Saturday and hundreds of practitioners attending from all over Europe. Seb, Blane, Chris, Johann, Anne-T, Andy and James will be out there for the duration, so we hope all the participants brought their training gear with them..! On Saturday we ran a seminar in Rome in conjunction with our friends from Majestic Force, Laurent Piemontesi and Chau Belle, and organised by parkour.it in aid of a children's hospital charity. Over 100 practitioners attended the event, eah one having to bring at least one gift for the beneficiary children - in fact well over 300 gifts were gathered and distributed in the end, so well done to everyone for pitching in! Thanks to Stephano for the smooth organisational work, and for everyone who participated and trained so hard.
