FREE D: School Training Facilities

The new Free D training facilities, designed in conjunction with our partners - UK-based company ESP Ltd - and endorsed by both afPE and Parkour UK, have now been installed in 4 schools in northern England. The official launch took place at St. Leonard’s Primary School in Padiham which is a current case study for the Trust Schools Strategy. It was an outstanding success with support from Burnley Football players Clarke Carlisle and Chris Eagles who were there to back the concept.

Woolwich School Programme

As of March 10th we will begin running weekly sessions for Woolwich Polytechnic College in greenwich, London. The school is a successful, heavily over-subscribed, boys’ comprehensive situated in a modern building on a green field site and we will be there every Wednesday afternoon from 3.05-5.05pm running a parkour class.

Cambridge School, Hammersmith

As part of a wider development within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, we will be starting regular classes at the Cambridge School in Hammersmith. The classes will be held on Friday afternoons, commencing this Friday January 15th. There are also plans to add a Youth Service class for children from the local area to be affixed back-to-back with the school class.

Archbishop Tenison School

Archibishop Tenison School in Oval, south London, has just joined our Parkour for Schools Programme and we will be starting a regular parkour class there on Tuesdays between 3.30-5.00pm from the 19th January onwards. The school has an infectious enthusiasm for trying new things and a great student body, so we are looking forward to getting these sessions going next week.
