Later this month we'll be in Colombia, South America, for the very first ADAPT coaching certification course and parkour workshop event in the country.
With 25 people now booked on this year's Morzine Summer Training Camp in the French Alps, July 21-27, we're almost at full capacity. There are only a few spaces left for the camp, so if you want in then now is the time to snap them up.
The fourth annual Scottish Parkour event will take place over theweekend of 28/29 September 2013. This year the event will be held in Coatbridge, home of our own Pete McKee, with a new refreshed format. This event is always great fun and, like every year, several of the PKGen team will be coaching throughout the two days.
A couple of weeks ago, while we were in Asia helping to deal with the North Korean missile threat, Blane and Stephane also found time to lead a workshop event and an ADAPT coaching certification course in South Korea.
Early warning! August 24-25 this year we will be running a 2-day training event in Linz, Austria - with coaches Chris 'Blane' Rowat and Leon 'Rock' Lawrence leading the training.
This month is a little, erm, busy for us. Not that every month isn't busy, but this particular month of May is a doozy... We're runnnig several international events over the next few weeks across a handful of continents, and here's the rough outline for what's to come.
Recently, Blane and I visited Athens for the 1st Athens International Parkour Seminar which was sponsored by Greek clothing company Basehit. As part of the sponsorship, the three coaches (Blane, Panos and myself) were very kindly given a Basehit jacket each similar to the one in the main photo above.
Its been a couple of weeks since we coached at the 1st Athens Parkour Seminar and the video from the weekend has just been released. Its a 10 minute epic showing all of the challenges the attendees faced - sitting down a lot, crawling a bit and some spiky trees - not much really ;) and the great vibe from the two days.
