On 31st of May and June 1st Brazil will see the 8th Minas Gerais Parkour Meeting in Belo Horizonte! The annual event is organised by Parkour Generations Brazil and has had guest coaches visiting from all over the world including PKGen UK and the Yamakasi founders from France.
In about 2 weeks from now we set out for an awesome outdoor adventure trainings experience called NeveRest (May 24th – 25th).
NeveRest is set over a long weekend in the English Peak District. It’s not an aimless race or a chance to get covered in mud for a couple of hours; it’s a few days of exploring the great outdoors while learning actual, usable life-skills that will improve your health, wellbeing, fortitude and spirit.
This two-day training event will be run by the world's most experienced female coaches of parkour/freerunning and physical fitness and will provide both a fantastic way for newcomers to find their feet in the discipline as well as challenging even the most experienced female practitioner.
Last weekend team member and coach Alex Pownall was invited to the Kotka Parkour Academy in Finland to teach at the “Rise of the Eagle” event or as one might also call it the Finnish Parkour Association annual general meeting. The seminar name derived from the name of the location (Kotka: 130km distance to Helsinki) meaning "Eagle" and is one of many super motivational seminar names the Scandinavian in general are so famous for.
