Today Team Member Thomas ran an open seminar in Sau Paulo, Brazil, and will be there for the next few days. The seminar is organised by the guys at Parkour.com Brazil - we have done several such seminars in Brazil over the last couple of years and the scene there is doing really well, with some very serious and committed practitioners at the heart of it. Keep it up guys!

Dan and Stephane have just returned from Alicante, Spain where they ran a workshop and conference as part of the line-up for the annual Urban Festival there. The festival was a great success with the likes of Hip-Hop legends Crazy Legs and Guru also on the line-up to perform and teach, and the parkour workshop went down very well with the local and visiting traceurs alike. Great spirit, good training, and a great place to practice too!

The three-day international gathering in Rome kicks off today, with a seven-strong team from Parkour Generations there to run a seminar on the Saturday and hundreds of practitioners attending from all over Europe. Seb, Blane, Chris, Johann, Anne-T, Andy and James will be out there for the duration, so we hope all the participants brought their training gear with them..! Hot on the heels of our recent two Italian seminars, a seven-man team from Parkour Generations will be returning to Rome from March 20-22 to run workshops at the international Ecce Parkour gathering. With traceurs attending from over 11 European nations the event is promising to be quite a meet, and we are happy to announce that our Yamakasi friends in Majestic Force will also be present to run the workshops.

On Saturday we ran a seminar in Rome in conjunction with our friends from Majestic Force, Laurent Piemontesi and Chau Belle, and organised by parkour.it in aid of a children's hospital charity. Over 100 practitioners attended the event, eah one having to bring at least one gift for the beneficiary children - in fact well over 300 gifts were gathered and distributed in the end, so well done to everyone for pitching in! Thanks to Stephano for the smooth organisational work, and for everyone who participated and trained so hard.

This weekend, 28-30 November, sees Stephane and Thomas heading out to Belfast to run a seminar for the public and local practitioners. With indoor and outdoor sessions for both beginners and experienced practitioners it should be a busy few days, but the guys are looking forward to our first seminar on the Emerald Isle...

At the end of this month a two-man team from Parkour Generations will be running a seminar in Belfast, Northern Ireland, primarily for the youth of the city. With indoor and outdoor workshops for beginners and advanced practitioners set over the Saturday and Sunday of November 29/30, the seminar will be led by Thomas and Johann and is funded by the local authorities.

Dan has just returned from St Petersburg, Russia, where he was invited to give a presentation to various authorities on how they might implement over there the successful teaching paradigm we have developed in the UK for schools and at risk children. There was also a large parkour festival in the city, organised by some very dedicated and positive practitioners, which involved a seminar for 200 people run by Dan and Danny Ilabaca who was also present throughout the few days.

In September we will be running an international training camp from the 16th to the 21st in Morzine, Switzerland. This is an opportunity to train with several top instructors from the Parkour Generations Team in the natural and stunning environment of the French Alps. The camp is fully residential, with board and all meals provided, plus a host of other activities to go along with the intensive daily training.

For the second time this year we are heading to Switzerland to run an international seminar. Team Members Stephane and Blane will be teaching the event, which runs from July 31st to August 2nd, and the guys fly out today. This seminar is being held in the Italian region of Switzerland, and anyone wanting more details can contact us directly here. We will also be returning to Switzerland later in September for a quite unprecedented event we are launching in Morzine, in the Alps. More on this very soon...
