For over a year now we have been running regular workshops and sessions in schools and for the young community in and around Wiltshire and North Wiltshire, often in conjunction with the local councils and Wiltshire Alternative Youth Sports. The result of this has been the development of a very strong scene down there, now backed by the Council in developing a local parkour club, evidence of which is reported on in the Gazette and Herald newspaper.

The next Wiltshire Academy Session occurs this Saturday, March 29th, with Kazuma and Chris teaching. Run in conjunction with Wiltshire Alternative Youth Sports, this new Academy is looking to be a great success and will go from strength to strength in helping develop the discipline in the Wiltshire area. On the evening of March 19th we will be running another workshop in conjunction with the Wiltshire Alternative Youth Sports (WAYS) organisation, part of Wiltshire County Council. The workshop will be held at the John Bentley School from 6.30-8.30pm, and is the latest in a long-running series of workshops and events we have put on in Wiltshire that have led most recently to us teaching a more regular Academy Class down that way.

We have recently started the saturday Wiltshire Academy sessions, which are looking set to grow in popularity just as our London Academy classes have done. Last week Chris and Johann went down to teach and we will be mixing up the instructors to expose the students there to as many influences as possible. The Calne Parkour regulars, whom we have been teaching for coming up on two years now and who have shown great determination and enthusiasm ever since we first met them, are always at these classes and are a fine example of a young but strong growing community.

Saturday February 23rd will see us holding the inaugural class of the Wiltshire Parkour Academy, the first regular class we will be running outside of London's hinterland. Tomorrow Stephane and Johann will be kick-starting the class and putting the Wiltshire regulars plus any and all who attend through their paces. We are very much looking forward to establishing this and to seeing it grow.

Later this month, on Saturday 23rd February, we will at last be kick-starting regular Academy classes in Wiltshire. The classes will run from 1-3pm on Saturdays, and all dates will soon be confirmed here on the site. The Calne Parkour guys have been behind this all the way, so a big thanks to them and we hope to see you all in class..!

Today Parkour Coaching is delivering workshops and presentations on parkour at Wiltshire College's Freshers' Fair, introducing the discipline to an entire new year of student intake. We'll be showing video footage, giving some brief talks and demonstrations and allowing the braver students to try their hand at some taster sessions...

Parkour Coaching Workshops for Wiltshire Council have been ongoing all this last month, with the most recent being carried out very successfully at Pewsey on July 27th and Lavington on July 30th. The next ones in that area will be on the 11th August in Melksham. The response in Wiltshire to the workshops has been outstanding, and a healthy young community is in development there as a result.
