This weeks video of the week is Anthow 2011, Juste du Parkour - Miramas (FRANCE) from Parkour13sang40

A video from French traceur Anthow whose own style of parkour is very controlled and fluid. The video is full of running precisions, spins and flexibility of movement. The building ascent at 2:17 is very swift and inventive and is probably my favourite part.

Number 20 Video of the week is by Aral Roca and labeled 'Summer 2011 - El Leñador'

Aral Roca demonstrates the ability to have fluidity, finesse and control even when performing movements which require strength and power.

A short, but well put together video that has been one of my favourites for a while now. Some simple, but big movements executed well.

This video from Indonesia describes how parkour has had a hugely positive effect on their lives and changed some of their philosophies. More so, though, it brings light to what parkour is to them and their feelings on movement and practice. It's another beautifully shot video and again has high use of slow motion.

Our latest short film, Intentions by renowned film-maker Julie Angel, has just been featured on Youtube's sports homepage. Youtube has been a very visual reference for the huge growth in popularity of parkour around the world, with parkour videos now the most uploaded type of video in the sporting category... Incredible. Expect more soon from us and Julie, including the much anticipated edit of Rendezvous IV, Day 1..!

Parkour Generations is now officially a YouTube Partner, and our revamped YouTube page can be viewed here. We have a great relationship with YouTube, having performed live at their last two annual events in America, the most recent being the most watched event ever on the internet, with more viewers online that the Olympics had! Parkour has fast become one of the major sporting attractions amongst the online video viewing public, and YouTube have helped us raise the profile of the discipline in this way.

Our good friends the Yamakasi founders at Majestic Force in France have just launched their own YouTube channel, where over the coming months they will be posting a host of video edits, docs and short films for all to enjoy. Chau, Yann, Laurent, Williams and Guylain were 5 of the original Yamakasi who first began the movement around twenty years ago. Took them a little while to get round to YouTube but then they are busy guys.. ;) Check out their channel here.
