Hi guys,
Just a thought I'd share:
Since a couple of years I'm totally into Parkour, because I'm writing a series of novels that
include a traceur, some scenes with traceurs at work and conversations about the psychology
behind Parkour. If things go well, a film producer will even make a film of the first of my novels.
Anyway, I've learned a lot about Parkour during my research. Know something about the spirit
behind it. But I cannot train and bring Parkour into practice, since I've got a severe form of
'fibromyalgia' (muscular rheumatism).
Now my question is: has anybody you know ever thought about using Parkour to get fibromyalgia
patients out of the vicuous circle of pain and exhaustion? Is there anybody among you who has
in depth knowledge of this disease and of Parkour? Maybe a fysical therapist or a M.D. (rheumato-
logist)? Would it be something worthwhile thinking of or developing?
I would be willing to talk about this subject, since I've got experience on this field
as a patient and Parkour-lover...
Regards,
Marion,
The Netherlands.
