Games giant Capcom have just released footage of one of their big new titles for 2013, Remember Me, which stars a female protagonist called Nilin flying across the rooftops of Neo-Paris in action sequences that echo free-running styles similar to Assassin's Creed and Uncharted. Nilin leaps over obstacles, shimmies along hanging pipes, and dashes across walkways and fire-escapes in typical action-hero style. We also get a taste of combat in Remember Me, as Nilin goes hand-to-hand with her attackers before – literally – blowing their minds.

Parkour is becoming just a predominant in the games industry as it is in the action movie industry, so expect to see quite a few more releases along these lines over the next few years. We get about, it seems ;)

Remember Me was announced earlier this summer at GDC Europe and is schedule to release in May 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. You can see some of the gameplay on the video below.
