Personas #11 - Forrest Mahop
Highlighting the contents of their bags and the shoes they are wearing at that moment in time, we have found it to be quite a revealing inside look into what traceurs/traceuses like to carry around with them from day to day.
The eleventh Personas photo mash-up this week is one of the Parkour Generations Directors and original practitioners of the London Parkour scene, Forrest Mahop. To describe who Forrest is and what he has done for Parkour is beyond something that can be said in a paragraph, but needless to say that his technique, power, strength and precision is second to none and he is also one of the friendliest, experienced and knowledgeable coaches you could ever wish to train with. Most people in the Parkour world who have either heard of or met with Forrest cannot deny his abilities and parkour skill, but when it comes to teaching he rises above all the rest and can give anyone those concrete foundations in Parkour that everyone craves. Watch out for his big voice too!
You can view our new Persona set on Flickr here : Personas and view the full resolution image of Forrest here: Forrest Mahop
Inspired by a very popular online Flickr gallery showcasing individuals and their personal belongings by photographer J Trav (See his Flickr gallery here), we thought it could be quite an interesting experiment to capture members of the parkour community in much the same way.
All the photography is by team member Andy Pearson. We hope you enjoy the new series and stay tuned for the next one right here.
